Is Muuted free?
Yes. The free plan is free forever and needs no credit card. It includes up to 100 sources, 20 muted words, and the Video and Social tabs.
How much does Muuted Pro cost?
Pro is $4 a month or $36 a year at the founding price. That rate stays yours for as long as the subscription remains active. After the founding window, new subscriptions are $5 a month or $50 a year.
Is there an annual plan?
Yes. $36 a year works out to $3 a month, about 25% less than paying monthly.
Does Muuted have a lifetime plan?
No. Muuted is funded by ongoing subscriptions rather than one-time payments, so the product can keep being maintained.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and Pro stays active through the end of the period you paid for.
What happens if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Your sources and muted words stay in your account, and the free plan limits apply again until you resubscribe.
Why does Muuted charge instead of showing ads?
Because an ad-funded reader has to keep you scrolling, and Muuted is built to help you finish. Subscriptions are the only way Muuted makes money, so there is no reason to track what you read or to build a profile on you.
