Nothing vanishes behind a black box.
Mute a word or a phrase you are tired of seeing. When Muuted catches something, it lands in your hidden list with the exact rule that caught it — restore the story, drop the rule, or always allow it. No guessing at what you meant.
Choose. Mute. Finish.
That is the whole product. Everything else exists to keep those three things working.
Add the sources you trust
Paste an address, search the directory, or import an OPML file from the reader you are leaving. News sites, blogs, YouTube channels and podcasts all arrive the same way. How it works →
Cut what you are tired of
One muted word applies across every source at once, not feed by feed. Whatever it catches lands in your hidden list next to the rule that caught it, one tap from coming back. Ways to filter →
Read until you are caught up
The feed runs in published order and then it stops. There is no second helping of what you already read and nothing is held back to keep you scrolling. Why that matters →
If it publishes a feed, you can follow it.
Most of the web still publishes RSS whether or not it says so. Muuted reads it, and your muted words cover all of it at once.
Free to start. Pro is $4 a month.
The free plan is a real reader: 100 sources, 10 muted words, and a week of every junk filter. Pro removes the limits and keeps the filters on.

Muuted does not track what you read, does not build a profile on you, and is not selling your attention to anybody. It makes money one way — subscriptions. Your sources and mutes are encrypted at rest and images load through Muuted’s own proxy. There is no algorithm here because there is nobody to serve but you.
