Help · Fantasy

Connect your fantasy league.

Six ways in, none of them need your password. Pick the one that matches where you play and you're done in about a minute. Muuted only ever reads your league — it can't set a lineup, add a player or post anything.

ESPN · the best way

Make your ESPN league viewable to the public.

This is the one to do if you can. A public ESPN league gives Muuted live scores, your matchup, standings, waivers and every roster in the league — no screenshots, ever, and it stays current all season. Only the league manager can flip the switch, so if that isn't you, send them this page.

01 · ON THE WEB

Open League Settings

Sign in at fantasy.espn.com, open your league and go to League → Settings. Under Basic Settings tap Edit Basic Settings.

02 · THE SWITCH

Make League Viewable to Public: Yes

Set it to Yes and hit Save Changes. Public means people with the link can see the league office, standings and team pages. Nobody can join, change a lineup or make a trade — it's still your private league to play in.

03 · IN MUUTED

Paste the League ID

In Muuted, open Fantasy, tap Add a league then ESPN, and paste your League ID (or your league's web address). Pick your team from the list and you're in. Where the League ID is.

In the ESPN app the same check lives under LEAGUE → League Info: if it says Viewable to Public: No, ask your league manager to switch it on the web, or use copy and paste or a screenshot instead.

ESPN · League ID

Find your ESPN League ID.

Every ESPN league has a long number. Muuted needs it once.

01

In the app

Open your league, tap LEAGUE at the top right, then League Info. Under Basic Settings, the League ID is the long number near the bottom.

02

On the web

Open your league at fantasy.espn.com and look at the address bar: the number after leagueId= is it. You can paste the whole address into Muuted and it will pull the number out for you.

03

Pick your team

Muuted lists every team in the league. Tap yours. If the league is private, Muuted will say so and point you at copy and paste or a screenshot.

Sleeper

Sleeper: just your username.

Sleeper shows a public profile for every account, so Muuted reads your leagues the same way anyone looking at your profile could. No password.

01

Find your username

Open the Sleeper app and tap your avatar at the top left. The name under it is your username.

02

Type it in Muuted

Add a league → Sleeper, type the username, tap Find my leagues. Every league tied to it shows up; add the ones you want.

03

What you get

Your rosters, player news and lineup alerts. Sleeper doesn't publish a live matchup score the way a public ESPN league does, so the lane says no live score on those rows instead of guessing.

Copy and paste · any app

Paste your roster.

Works for ESPN private leagues, Yahoo, NFL, CBS — anything that shows your roster on a screen. You copy the page, Muuted reads the names. If you can copy the page, pasting is more accurate than a screenshot.

Open your league: ESPN · Yahoo · NFL · CBS · Sleeper. Basketball, baseball and hockey leagues: the same apps, picked in Muuted by the sport you choose at the top of Add a league.

01

Copy the page

Open your roster or this week's matchup page in your league app or on the web. Select all (Ctrl+A / Cmd+A on a computer, press-and-hold then Select All on a phone), then copy.

02

Paste it in Muuted

Add a league, pick your sport and your app, and under Or paste your roster paste the text, then tap Read what I pasted. Muuted finds the player names and shows you the list to check.

03

Keep it fresh

Rosters change. On the Fantasy lane, each pasted league shows the date it was read and a Paste roster → link, so a new paste after a trade or a waiver pickup takes a few seconds. Muuted shows you what changed before it saves.

Only the player names are kept — not the page, not your login, no cookies. A pasted league gets player news and lineup alerts; live scores need a public ESPN league.

Screenshot · any app

Or send a screenshot.

Same idea as pasting, with a picture. Muuted reads the names off the screen. If you can copy the page, pasting is more accurate than a screenshot.

Open your league: ESPN · Yahoo · NFL · CBS · Sleeper. Basketball, baseball and hockey leagues: the same apps, picked in Muuted by the sport you choose at the top of Add a league.

01

Which screen

Open this week's Matchup screen and capture both lineups. If you only see your team, that works too. In ESPN tap MATCHUP at the top; in Yahoo, NFL or CBS open your team and go to this week's matchup.

02

A good one

This week's Matchup screen, phone held upright, your whole starting lineup in frame, nothing on top of it (no pop-ups, banners or keyboard). Bench is optional; take a second one for it.

03

Choose it in Muuted

Add a league, pick your sport and your app, tap Choose screenshot. Muuted shows the names it read; fix any it missed, then Add. Later, Screenshot → on the lane updates the roster the same way.

Yahoo

Yahoo: coming, waiting on Yahoo.

Muuted's side of a direct Yahoo connection is built. Yahoo gates its Fantasy Sports API behind an approval, we've applied, and there's no date. Until then a Yahoo league works through copy and paste or a screenshot — both give you player news and lineup alerts today.

What Muuted keeps

Read-only, by design.

No passwords

None of the six ways asks for one. ESPN and Sleeper are read through the pages they already make public; paste and screenshot read what you give us.

No cookies

Muuted never stores your ESPN or Yahoo login cookies. If a league is private, the answer is paste or screenshot — not handing over your session.

No writes

Muuted cannot set a lineup, add or drop a player, make a trade or post to your league. It reads, it flags, it links you to ESPN to act.
